Not as tall as I would have liked, I probably misread the measurement, but sturdy and useful for those small items that need to be folded and carried from the dryer to put away. Especially handy if you run out of energy easily and don’t want undies sitting till you have enough energy to put them in the proper drawers.It's not bulky; Big enough for my weekly laundry clothes.I love them, work great in my car for what I need. They look great as well.I like this for toting a lot of things from room to room, or for packing in things that I need to keep together. It holds a good bit. I wouldn't call it large though, only medium. It holds as much as a small round laundry hamper.It is made of a thick, canvas type fabric, and the sides are velcro if you want to seal it up on the sides, so itis shaped more like an A-frame. It is attractive and looks pretty good in a small tight corner that I have in my bedroom. It's too small for a conventional hamper but this fits ok.The only downside, to me, is that the strap is weird. The pictures show it fitting through and holding, but mine doesn't always hold. If it is a light load, it doesn't hold right, but with heavier loads, it does fine. It's like the grommets are too big to hold that end brass framed strap in like the listing shows unless the bag is heavy enough to pull down on it. I can double the strap back up through the grommets and use it that way though. It's just an awkward construction, in my opinion, for a carrying strap. It's mainly a problem with light things, like a lot of lingerie. When I put heavier clothes in it, it works ok.It is a very heavyweight fabric that shouldn't tear. It's well constructed. The grommets are the only weak point. If it were really overloaded, those could tear out. It holds several pair of jeans though without straining them, I just would not load it down with books.These are great. They are sturdy and will hold goods without breaking, but they are also flexible and easy to fold up for storage. The color is rich - and bland enough to fit in most areas.My husband calls me a canvas and storage bin fanatic. But they are a nice way to store things and add beauty to your home instead of clutter. Although this is marketed as a laundry hamper, I am using it to store my husbands sweats. Before I had them folded on the top shelf of our closet and he'd just pull a pair off, and if the others hit the floor, so be it. Our closet soon became a nightmare. With this hamper, he can get out what he wants and if they are not folded properly, that's okay, because no one can see them in this bag and the closet still looks organized.I'm a big DII fan, so I'm also loving this hamper. The colors are nice and neutral. It has a single strap that you can assemble with the the buckle to the other side of the canvas, the strap stays in. There is velcro on both sides of the canvas to expand for extra storage or to take in for less storage. It is very tall, so a good amount of clothes (or whatever you store in it) will fit.It's made of 60% cotton and 40% polyester. To clean, use a damp sponge.My only real problem with these baskets is that there is no way these are laundry baskets unless your typical load consists of a set of underwear, a few socks and a blouse. They're that small. I thought as much when I read the dimensions, but figured what the heck, they'll be good for something.And they are, they're lovely storage bins which I'm using to store washcloths and towels, but they are emphatically not laundry bins. The handles are good for pulling the bins around, but not for carrying because they're not long enough to allow them to be grasped in the same hand at the same time. To be able to grasp these the way you would a shopping bag, they'd have to be longer, or be attached to the long sides of the bin. That makes them awkward for carrying much of anything. You will need to use both hands or find a way to wedge the contents in the bin so you can hold it by one handle and let it swing downward.By all means consider these for storage, they're lovely and sturdy, and will not disappoint in that respect. But they are absolutely no good for large loads of anything.I really love the size of this laundry bag, and I love the single strap that makes it easy to transport. Realistically, it doesn't fit a load of laundry in it. But we use it to separate socks from the rest of our laundry. As we sort and fold, all the socks go into this bag and, ideally, are folded and separated from there. But when (as too often happens) we don't quite get through folding it all or we have singleton socks, they stay in the bag until the next sorting. It makes it easy for all of us to find socks, and it means the kids always have a handy chore for when they complain of boredom.The bag is very well made and the fabric is really sturdy. The bag can definitely hold some weight. My only problem with the bag is that the handle , which is held in place through a sort of buckle loop, slips off easily if there isn't weight pulling down the bag on whatever it's hanging on. It's still worth it.I purchased this for our nursery. Great size. But the handle doesn’t stay as needed when transporting to the laundry room.Good size - well constructed -sturdy - great fabric - will buy more
