This UV sterilizing machine is a bit confusing to use. One thing I need to clarify about it, is that it does NOT use water in any way. This is not an ultrasonic cleaner with blue lights, this is simply a blue light cleaner. You put your phone or tools inside and push the button, and supposedly the blue lights that shine down on the thing , circulate around even to the underneath, charging ions and using "reflection" to sterilize all areas of the item. there are no lights in the flooring of the chamber, only the roof so you just have to take this "reflection ion process" on faith. The blue lights do shine, I can say this for sure. (Note: I would not use this device for cleaning any tools that you use on people in a professional setting since it is questionable how or if this works at all for sterilizing. ) The aromatherapy option seems to be that you drop a few drops of your fragrance or essential oil on the grate you see in the bottom of the chamber and the scent just sort of diffuses through from there. One other issue I have with this, is that the voice controls don't match up to the buttons. So when you press the Disinfection button the voice says "Aromatherapy" and when you press the Aromatherapy button the voice says "Disinfecting." This seems to not be a device you charge up, you run it on the cord it comes with while you are using it- supply your own usb adapter plug to plug it into the wall. That cord it comes with too is quite short. I feel like after trying it, I'm left with so many questions still about how to properly use this and if it truly works.
